But everyone who owns Chromaphone is an existing AAS customer so the discount is available to everybody, what am I missing (apart from the crackheads of course)?antoyne wrote:Well, I guess it's for existing customers only

Yeah, I guess they are just sending the emails in batches

In their email it states: "The Cardinals sound bank for Chromaphone and AAS Player is available now at $19 (a $20 discount!) until June 10, 2012 to registered and approved AAS users."
Getting and staying on the AAS approved list is tricky. You have to know somebody who knows somebody and be willing to endure some not-so-nice physically modeled auditory hazing rituals. Sometimes it's just less painful to pay retail.

Well I should hope I am on their "approved" list - apart from Simon and Martin Walker I think I'm the only other person who has released a Chomaphone bank so far, plus I found a load of bugs for them in the early release.

Oh dear, they probably remember you as a real troublemaker. Sure, these software companies 'say' they want thorough beta testers, but really what they want is gifted rubber stampers. Can't imagine what physically modeled auditory hazing ritual they have planned for you. Run, while you have the chance.aMUSEd wrote:...plus I found a load of bugs for them in the early release.

Hi Simon!
Congratulations on this new bank!
I loved the time I spent developing sounds for my Chromaphone bank, and judging by the demos on the AAS web site for Cardinals you did too
I enjoyed reading your interview as well

I know how you feel. It took them a couple of days to send me the email for the last Chromaphone preset bank. It did come eventually and I have the bank to prove it.aMUSEd wrote:Still no email - I'm feeling a bit left out now
