It's not there!!!!

i picked up the magazine specifically to get that piano exs instrument..

anybody else not see it on the CD?

the cover of the CD proclaims the "FREE PIANO SAMPLED INSTRUMENT" recorded in Studio 2 at Abbey Lane - Tack Piano as used by the Beatles and others!

centre stage on the cover ..

they even talk about it in the mag!!

I got it... Copied the instrument across to my HD. Can't remember where I found it on the CD... Was possibly somewhere non-obvious.

Anyway... You're not missing much... Only one velocity layer

P.S. The directory is TackPiano and the .exs file is inside the 'Sampler Instruments' subdir, as BeatlesTackPiano.exs

So, anyone know what the deal is with this piano? It's not on my disk and I too bought the mag just for the piano samples.

On my CD its in L:\TackPiano\Sampler Instruments

The samples are in L:\TackPiano\Samples

What system are you trying to read it on? Could be a MAC vs PC issue? (mines on a PC)

Well... I gotta say, the current issue is absolutely great... at least for me... a 2 page review on Zebra...

Yep, still April

The current beta is pretty stable. Just need to write more docs, and fine tune some features (two missing contextual menus, some preferences that don't save with the preferences, some colour adjustments)...

If it's not 100% by next week, I'll make it a preview download. I think this is way to go - It can keep the V1.0 price tag for a couple of days, so people can check it out and save some bucks.

as for that little tack piano.. i ended up downloading it from their site

i thought it was a great clinky sounding thing
