This makes me wish I had the moog expansion. How good are the new patches?

Freebies are always nice. Didn't find many usable ones in there but several that might work as a base for some of my own presets. YMMV. Dubsteppers should get this asap!

Agree with Gravehill - Freebies always good - but - IMO these patches cover ground already saturated by Omni. Film type atmospheres, FX and whatnot. I fully realize how subjective this is but I kept 3 out of the 78 for possible future use.
These patches were a birthday tribute to Bob Moog but if you look at the patches that Bob did for the Voyager, you see patches that are actually pretty useable.
cheers

fyi these were programmed by Eric Persing. Haven't heard them yet but if it's atmospherics I'm glad. Omni is the best atmospherics synth I have. The patches are great and the sound quality is superb. Omni's my go-to synth for textures, atmospheres and effectsy stuff.

You know just what to expect, which is a blessing and a curse, I suppose. I think they're great, but I can see how they might get lost in the huge and already incredible library that Omnisphere has.
Still, once again Spectrasonics give more free stuff to their users. One of the world's most noted sound designers gave his time and effort, then gave it away without asking for more money. Thanks, Eric!

And he's spent his time promoting a product which brings him no profit - it's all for charity.
