You seem not to be a beta-tester, you screw out "new worlds" from synthsSampleconstruct wrote:What they did offer me is to do some beta-testing for them, no holidays though - meh
Anyway, set nr.10 is awesome.
I like very much the fact that kind of apparently sci-fi scapes reveal a great playability, as real "new" instruments.
It's not only inspiration they give, but they suggest a way of thinking music, and how all these plugs we use can get to be in the future.
Thx!

So, I guess you might mean "the media is the message"... but I think is your (and everybody's) creativity that makes the big difference.Sampleconstruct wrote:Thank's for the flowers, Matteomatteogk wrote:You seem not to be a beta-tester, you screw out "new worlds" from synthsSampleconstruct wrote:What they did offer me is to do some beta-testing for them, no holidays though - meh![]()

Thx!- Iris is definitely a futuristic instrument and it leads me into those directions somehow...
On the other hand, I hope many other will post here their musical works, as you do, to have a wider dialogue on technical infos supported by how we use them.
Because, in the end, only the music we make really matters to me.

No, I didn't mean that, sounddesigning would be a merely technical subject then and would not interest me at all, I meant it in a more abstract way - each synth leads you into a certain direction given it's possibilities/strengths and sometimes even weaknesses/limitations, what you make of it is the creative part based on your personal experience/vision/education/preferences/whatever.matteogk wrote: So, I guess you might mean "the media is the message"... but I think is your (and everybody's) creativity that makes the big difference.

A hardware synth and it's software counterpart would most likely have the user produce different sounds on average due to the way you approach them. It would be cool to see a softsynth with a couple of completely different UI's and layouts, and then see how the produced results would differ.
Has anyone heard Izotope mention any possible update recently? I don't think im following the right sources to intercept anything from them but maybe you do
