I don't think it's been updated in quite some time.......
Are you talking about Z3TA+ 2.1? It could very well be buggy. I only spent a few hours with it so far but didn't encounter any bugs.

No, dimpro

Dimension pro is very old (you know it). How can you put this one in your tracks?
Even for one euro (or dollar), I don't buy it.

Yeah, no one ever uses old music gear.

Big difference between hardware and software... Sorry.

I have plenty of old hardware but I still find use for dimension pro. Just because it's old don't suddenly make it bad. Dimension Pro for that price is an excellent deal IMO.

I would just like a VST of a Roland Dimension Pro.....
And I know it can be done (Native Instruments, I'm talking at you)

If only someone would make a skin featuring the Fruity Girls, that would bring it up to date.

@several people in the thread: Seriously, let's leave the flames out. Discuss the software but don't bash just for the sake of bashing. You're not (or shouldn't be) trying to impress each other with how edgy you can get. The idea is to help the OP make a decision. That's assuming he or she hasn't already made the jump; don't feel like reading the whole thread to find out.

My take: If you have $37 to spare you can't go wrong. Lots of content, interesting synth. It's an important part of this nutritious breakfast.

Post

This is true. For that much content, even if you never use the synth. You can't even buy a samplepack that big for that price. Do what I did. I got the Viral Outbreak for DirectWave in FL. Didn't like DirectWave much, so I patched them up in Rapture. Bliss.

Very good memories! Do you love me?
No problem with fruity girls for me (exept here (for you)).

Post

If you thought that was an attack or an insult, you are entirely mistaken. It was a reminder.

Sorry... :p
