Sorry my bad, network wasn't connected. Tried Animoog(which I'm using through wifi all the time) also and went ..uh!
Finally got it working. -
Yeah it's an expected feature here too.

Sor far, and I'm only 10 mins in with this, it seems slightly over priced.
Can't find any modulation routing..

I'm finding myself moving in that direction. That's why I'm so grateful for the list that White Noise Audio maintains of OMAC / compatible apps.

Anyone else have a bug where the buttons for the osc waveforms don't work?

(edit);
No bug.

sure, theres no point in having 50 synths that cannot not be used outside of the box.

I'm a little new with the iPad stuff. I just picked up an iPad 2 last night and have spend altogether probably about 2 hours with it.

What are the benefits of virtual midi in the iOS realm?

Is iOS to the point where it multitasks and the sound/midi can be internally routed to a DAW app?

This synth is a lot better after the recent upgrade.
Buttons and knobs seem more responsive now, feels less cheap.

And as of today, Cassini has background audio, MIDI, and AudioCopy/Paste (which it had before, but the other two are new today).

And suddenly this has become a very useful app as well as a great-sounding synth. Playing this with SoundPrism PRO and Changeling Sequencer is an absolute delight!

I'm with topaz on this...

Virtual midi allows for midi to flow from one app to the next and also you can route it into you're DAW (the how-to is OS specific)

Background audio allows enabled apps to play in the background while using another app. Absolute must have.

Midi clock sync is a key one that I wish they all had and also have the ability to send & receive.

***someone correct me if I am wrong here***

Nowadays I prefer to use my ipad2 as more of a controller. I've spent a lot on synths already. Apps like Changeling, Soundprism Pro and Genome Sequencer let me drive the stuff on my Mac while using the touch screen on the iPad as a sketchpad. If apps don't have at least the first two in that list I pass them by.

I've seen a lot of synths mentioning virtual midi & background audio, but I don't think I've seen any that specifically mention Midi Clock sync. Is there a list of these anywhere, or is that just something automatically built into Virtual midi?
