Hi guys,

I have done a couple beginner tutorial for ableton and have learnt a few basics.
Anyways, I caught this vid on youtube and asked myself "How can I learn to do these cool things from my controller instead of using the computer for everything.

I've gone through the intruction manual of my Impulse, and the majority of it is very vague, I do not know what most of the function buttons do, lol, and the help feature on the keyboard gives the same lame vague answers as in the manual.

Anyone know where I can find tips or info on mastering my controller?
I'd love to be able to do even a fraction of what the guy in the vid is able to do from the controller.

Yep Groove3 makes a video regarding the Impulse, it's very handy. I have both the Impulse and SL Novation mk2 zero working like a dream together. The video is very helpful.I'd say the action on the Impilse is better then the SL series, but the controls on the SL series are better. Either way have fun 8)

Awesome, thanks for the tip.
I don't know what Groove3 is though, lol, can you point me in the right direction to it?

Oh, I just realized there is an in-depth manual for the Impulse on the installation disc. Gonna look through it now. When all I had in the box was the quickstart guide I was pretty dissapointed, lol, but I feel better now I know I have a 43 page comprehensive instruction manual.

Cheers guys

btw, My installation disc also comes with Bass Station and license.
Is it any good? Just asking so I know if I should look up some Bass Station tutorials or if I shouldn't bother.
I could just install it, but even if I did I wouldn't know what to do with it lol, until after i do my research.
Cheers
