Anyone spotted few empty slots in tape selector :)
+1, I've just tried it as well.
The only thing I don't like is when I use a compressor after RealBus, then I get a noise on the background, the more gain you give, the more noise you get.

that's the tape noise that they emulated if its loud try bringing it down to -30 also there is a update that adds a -30 db pad i never have a problem with extra noise

A big thank you to the developer for improving the w/f model. It was my only complaint. This some seriously incredible magical €10, pretty much shot the concept "bang for the buck" out of the window to the next galaxy. Can't think why exactly I would need another tape emulation plugin.

Also makes my Teac look incredibly dusty and clumsy, even crippled. I suppose I will only ever need it if someone requests a "100% authentic tape sound" -contract clause.

i half agree you made the back for your buck thing just kill itself :hihi:
and the sound is really really nice i have 3 tape emulation plugins and gave up on one completely due to this one. I still use my sknote one though its also nice just more subtle but this baby here is FANTASTIC they both are in there own way.

I found a small bug in reelbus:
-30db button does not reduce the noise at all on my system. It doesn't seem to be doing anything.

By far the best tape emu out there, and amazingly, the cheapest. Sometimes fortune does smile upon us... :D

Yeah, the gulf between price and quality is greatly narrowed with Reelbus.

Oh, and also CPU usage. This uses a fraction of the UAD or Waves tape's CPU, without sounding like a cheap waveshaper. I love it.

I agree with you on that. It sounds better might not look at fancy but I think that's all the others really have over the others like this one or roundtone. they are simple not super pretty looking and because of that they have better cpu usage and are easy to use.
I like using both in a mix one sounds totally different in good ways.

personally I have found all toneboosters stuff I bought more than stacks up with the more expensive names

I'm not sure if "pretty" GUIs really affect the CPU that much. I think it's the oversampling and complex code that does it, IMHO.

not a lot but it does when you have like a big fancy gui with 3d looking everything and a big ass turning tape wheel and you go into something like reaper and turn on and off the gui you see a cpu load drop without. its like how watching HD movies takes a faster computer to do it really well than a old slow one that can just watch normal youtube stuff
