This is a remix of one of my own songs as a tribute to Zummerfish (Alice) for doing my album artwork for me (and doing an amazing job too)
Though, if any of you heard the original version, I have to say it's quite hard to take an ambient tune and turn it into something dance-y, so this "remix" mostly took the notes and melodies from the original song, but used new instruments. I.E. the lead piano part was originally a guitar, the 8-bit run was originally a small part of the guitar melody as well.
Anyways, I wasn't really going for dance-club worthy music, I wanted to create an atmosphere, and I feel the heavy bass line really did it, everything feels deep and spacious...or at least to me it does. What do you think?

You certainly built an atmosphere here, and I don't care about the dancefloor.
It came out very nice imo, I like the choice of not pushing to much with the rhythm, it works very well coming and going and it gives a certain pace without the risk of damaging the soft 'nightly' atmosphere.
Very well constructed, it makes sense to me. Nicely done
Cheers
