Unless they're folding those into the new Amplitube update, which is what I'm guessing they're doing. Sounds like we'll get at least one Marshall for free, maybe some pedals, and/or maybe some custom shop stuff.blueman wrote:For mobile onlybishop666 wrote:Amplitube Slash!

Why look at that...so it is. AT 3.8 is sitting in my IK account.

Yea, but after downloading 3.8. The gear wasn't in the custom shop. Guess I was too quick. It is there now. Guess if I want this stuff I'll need to buy the collection rather than piece by piece. $80 for the Amplitube Slash compared to nearly $180 by the piece.

Hah, I was able to guess the release date the other day when I made my comment about "6/14 release or I'll begin my evil scheme"...
No wonder the thread got so quiet after that!
...Either that or they felt the threat of 'Amplitube Ripe!" was enough to move the date forward
Off to check things out.

I just want the JCM (wow!), the two cabs (double wow!) and the noise gate (smart indeed). That would be 55 credits. Which would mean spending $60 (to buy 65 credits) and having 10 credits left over, or just get the whole thing for $80...
Really wish credits were sold in increments of 5 but I see why they're not.

BTW, kudos to IK for the short tease. I like that this was first hinted at a few days ago and it's already out.

Yup! When you guessed it we were all surprised! "he guessed the date and everything...We must have a MOLE!" Not really, but we are all excited about AmpliTube Slash and the tone, OMG the TONE!Kontrast13 wrote:Hah, I was able to guess the release date the other day when I made my comment about "6/14 release or I'll begin my evil scheme"...

Or get the iPad version for $9.99. How come the "computer" version is almost *10* times as expensive????surferman wrote:Yea, but after downloading 3.8. The gear wasn't in the custom shop. On the demos there is plenty of gain. Just downloaded the demo and
the amps sound is nothing like in the audio and video demos. Too weak. Not able to sustain!
Otherwise the Tone is there!
Also the demo noise is away louder than the playable signal.

That's the difference between $10 software runninng on a mobile device and $80 software running on a PC. Or did you assume they are functionally equivalent?firepile wrote:Or get the iPad version for $9.99. How come the "computer" version is almost *10* times as expensive????
