How about mounting a grassroots "Support developers, dump Reason!" campaign? If you use plugins and believe developers, and not host vendors, should be compensated for developers' hard work, post about the 30% fee on as many Facebook and forum threads as possible. Let's make the 30% cost Props the most!

kae that is exactly what is awkward and off-putting about the props,
even when you only semi-mind about something

i remember when 6 came out and all their forums were abuzz
about how much more demanding on cpu it is, many computers that had no problems with Reason5 didn't even meet the minimum requirements for 6.

ofcourse Props say nothing, as usual,

but, shortly after i get an email from them about a new video interview
with some frenchproducerguy telling us about how surprised he was
when he first discovered Reason and realized it could even run on his parents old computer

it felt like salt on the wound, rub it in a little, oh yes,
feel the pain and nostalgia for what Reason used to be
and could have been
now shut up and give us more money

I can't have enough of this dual pitch shifter. Have been playing with it for hours though, have to check out the other RE's too...

Ableton with reason is awesome ttoz. Remember to use the external instrument device and not manual track routing (manual works it's just a bit more wiring and clutter).

As much as I love vst instruments and effects there isn't really anything to match the reason rack. The really easy GUIs are truly fun when in the zone.

I would say the main thing I miss is drag and drop external files and patches an sounds from explorer or finder right onto targets in the rack. The browser dialogs are good but clunky and drag and drop support where applicable would increase the speed of workflow quite a bit.

Yes, it's really nice for guitars, but almost anything I throw at it seems to create new modulation opportunities and open up for creative experiments. What a lovely device!

Ah, my bad, thanks for the correction

So for example let's take Audio Damage Rough Rider compressor. Although most Reason users have been saying for years that the MClass comp, SSL mixer comp and now Pulveriser are all they need so... why would they now rush to buy Rough Rider I wonder...?

Anyway:
Price = $29.00, Props cream off $8.70, Audio Damage take $20.30.

...or of course the rest of the world can simply download Rough Rider as a FREE VST plugin with a much better interface

Just downloaded Reason 6.5 plus a couple of RE's from the shop...
