I remember trying the demo, and it was on the back panel options, to turn off effects, so if that's disabled, then it's probably not possible.tehlord wrote:I'm really looking forward to this![]()

That's a shame if it's true, although not having them on your own sounds will be no biggie. Quite refreshing in fact! I do like programming a synth without onboard FX and then running it through Bionic delay and some nice verb. Most satisfying

You could always reprogram the patch with out the FX if you really want to use it.tehlord wrote:

It will be the Google logo Moog with a new GUI....
The Arturia Moog's are the juiciest.

Gee, Midge Ure is a prophet:

Looks like it will be the full synth, but no back panel editing which means you can't edit chorus/delay/arp, but I think the front has switches for these.

I think it will still be cool without that extra stuff, and we can just use our own effects anyway. If it is something where the presets are stuck with the effects (but just not editable) then hopefully we can just switch them off, which would be ok.osiris wrote:Looks like it will be the full synth, but no back panel editing which means you can't edit chorus/delay/arp, but I think the front has switches for these.

Well, if the fx section is not available on the free Minimoog V, will theeffects even be applied to the patches? That would be pretty weird actually, as, how i understood it, they will not be present in the software... i mean it would be pretty pointless to inculde them, if you cannot access them. Will only bloat the software as well.

Why would a free plugin need any protection at all?Ingonator wrote:...i hope free plugin will use an easier protection to not piss the "dongle haters" off.
What exactly would you want to 'protect' it from if its free anyway?
No, i hope they simply offer a link to download an installer and leave it at that. No jumping through hoops, no registration nonsense, just an installer. The less hassle the more people will get it, (and be happy with it), and the more people get it the higher the chance that the whole thing leads to sales of the enhanced version and possibly other Arturia products. Both sides win.
