Yeah right, all limited time offers are now "FREE" forever by default...

If its free its free of course, but I gave you many examples of giveaways that were not including any free products.

This is a bad example. Why should they be compelled to offer updates / upgrades for free giveaways??

In the past several big companies offered free (limited) versions that included a copy protection software. It's nonsense, but they did it.

Basically this is a bit extreme yet great example to show that companies may choose to do whatever they like with their promotions.
