Sure does, its the combination of lo freq osc+noise and really snappy synth envelopes on synths such as the nord, juno and ms10, but CM 505 can do this stuff all day long, did you give that a try? its choc full of the stuff.

unfortunately it seems there is no mac version :( any other tip? seems to be a great synth for getting these type of sounds.. love it!

This one is highly rated but i dont have mac so give a try, fortunately if you have £6 to spare you can get the mac version of CM505 on Computermusic magazine cover disc - well i think so anyway.

Top line says someone has uploaded the entire FREE CM studio for mac, its a 153mb download
its not a cracksite or anything like that so i wouldnt know what to do. The one above is an official vst website and ive found out that the cm505 definitely works for mac, so for £6 it would be easier just to buy a copy of the mag.
