Hi there-

I apologize if this topic has been discussed (I looked around for a while and didn't see anything) I don't understand how to open the actual program. It says it is downloaded successfully, I see all the different files listed in my VST folder, but there is no actual icon to click to open up the Sylenth program. I'm on windows, I click start > all programs > Sylenth1 > and in the Sylenth1 folder there is a Manual, Uninstall Sylenth1, and a visit LennarDigital. There is no Sylenth1 icon to click.

Am I missing something here?

Post

It isnt a standalone program, its a vst plugin and needs a host such as Cubase, Fruity Loops, Reaper, Ableton Live etc to run in.

I think you are missing a VST host.

I have Ableton Live. When I go to Plug In devices inside of Ableton, I cannot get it to link up with Sylenth

Perhaps your DLL is not compatible with x64.

Does something need to be done with the License.dat file that is associated with the download email? (It comes as an attachment)?

You should be able to open sylenth1 in demo mode and register it with the dat file.

You use ableton, that's only 32-bit software, if I'm right and you try to run the 64-bit sylenth1 version? You need a bitbridge:

But it's much better to install sylenth1 32-bit for ableton.

You can't run x64 plugs in live unless you use jbridge (and I have no idea if that works well or not)
