I'm happy to say that Wusikstation CM V1 was voted the 2nd best Free CM Synth!!

Wusikstation CM-featured every month on the disc that comes with the
regular edition of CM- is a true gift to Comptuer Music readers, being the
full initial version of Wusikstation with absolutely no restrictions.

Wusikstation CM is chock full of multisampled waveforms that fuel its
powerful synthesis engine. From its vast menu of modulation options to
its ability to bring in user waveforms, this is one versatile instrument.

On wavesequencing: It's an under-appreciated technique that is rearely
available at any price.

The instrument pulses with life and offers up a plethora of patches
normally associated with hardware PCM machines. From quirky rhythmic
wavesquences to shimmering glacial pads, Wusikstation CM delivers and then
some.

We didn't made to the Top10 Commercial VSTs list since the other companies have a much larger user base. Still, someone from CM stated that Wusikstation was mentioned several times, and it have been on the list if it weren't for the large companies.

Still, that was for V1, imagine what it would be for the latest V4 and all the new sounds!

To make room for all the new stuff which is not as good, i was looking for it a while back so ended up buying wuzikstation 7 in the half price offer thingamajig.
good integrated sample editor also for churning out 24bit sfz files

Oh, too bad, I hope they put it back, V1 was a great version, loved the GUI. (created by my wife, of course)

Wow, that didnt take long. I need to download the new update that dealt with the stereo wavesequencing layer errors. Im glad that got sorted as i ran into it and wondered if it was an inherent problem. Obviously not. Any new info on the future
of wuzikstation

If the V3 sounds were a free, or donationware download somewhere,
the Wusik app itself isn't that huge, and likely could still be
part of each dvd. Filed under the Hints column
