an NDA wouldn't necessarily prohibit someone from simply stating they were invited into the beta circle. especially when the company have publicly stated that they are beta testing and what it is.

Actually, I'm being partially serious. Yeah, I'd like to "know" what it's all about. But let's be realistic. If they haven't optimized the CPU usage and it didn't gel with my system (an i7) then I'd be p/oed anyways.

Yes, he was Abletons 'technical support manager' and fairly high profile....just left.

There won't be anyone left at Ableton but the accountants soon....

I find it hard to believe people like this would leave Ableton if (a) live 9 was about ready and a killer update and (b) bigwig was vapourware.

I would imagen pele like Dom have seen the status of both products and made a career decision based on what thy have seen.

......or they just offered him a seat by a window

I can't explain Facebook to you on KVR without lowering permanently your IQ by several points and when we get to the 'friend' and 'like' parts, you won't like what it does to your general self-esteem. However, you have more pressing needs it seems. FYI, subscribing to a newsletter does not a beta tester make. That said, if the alleged newsletter doesn't ever arrive, you could log it as a bug, although they'll likely claim it was working as expected - nothing exciting happened.

Well, it was a reasonable attempt........but BAIT NOT TAKEN!

Still though, I don't really know if it would be a good idea for me to be on the beta team. I'm too demanding. I expect mind blowing OMG OMG OMG, and they my simply not be able to deliver

Bit Wig have started Beta Testing today (Link) June 19th
