He said it didnt have Elicenser.
Elicenser comes in 2 flavours. Dongle and challenge/response.

Soft elicencer is not even close to challenge response. Licence is just stored in your disk instead of the dongle. In fact you can then transfer it in your dongle whenever you like....

Guys.

Can you do me a favour. In approx 6 hours time can you please stay off the internet for around 10 mins. Thanks.

Hi all,

Here is Denis from Arturia. I confirm the free Minimoog V Original day will start in 6 hours from now. The offer will last for 24 hours based on the Central European Time (Paris time).

The Minimoog Original V will come with a copy protection system, but this system is not eLicenser. Basically you will just receive an e-mail giving you a download link and an activation code (to be entered at first launch).

All the best,

Denis

Looking forward to this. I think the minimoog V is still their crowning achievement and most others sound still very similar to it, even the oberheim they did. Even though I've got DIVA, I'll still enjoy the minimoog for the "Arturia" sound which I enjoy. And being limited to exactly what was on the original could be fun from an init patch as well, encouraging us to use external effects a little more maybe. It's also generous of them to give us all the presets that come with it, using the extra back panel features. It's full of good presets this one.
