Am I the only one who isn't interested in their stuff? I just couldn't click the 'like'-button after seeing this forum flood with Arturia topics.
It's just a crippled version of something else with a difficult authorization procedure.

download, run setup, open in DAW, enter code. NOT difficult for anyone with an IQ over 10.

results, and just extend the offer for a couple of weeks.
Regain some good will, and let the servers cool down.

they dont need to extend the offer though, they were successfully taking orders all day via their facebook page. if people cant wait a couple days for it to be delivered thats their problem and i dont think Arturia should pander to themglokraw wrote:The A team might as well admit the best of intentions had unforseenthecontrolcentre wrote:Looks like it.manducator wrote:Am I the only one who isn't interested in their stuff?

I won't sign up to Facebook to get software, paid or free. They could wait a couple days until they caught up on their own servers, couldn't they?
I don't mind waiting for a key or code to unlock software. Anything short of a dongle is fine with me. But Facebook is a marketing tool, and I get pitched enough from all the other sources already. Why would I sign up for yet another one?
Anyway, I'm fine with missing the giveaway. But Arturia fails to get my goodwill as a result of the third party hook (Facebook).

You could take the 1.5 minutes total it would take to sign up and submit your order via their facebook page using the name JohnDoe15348745, couldn't you?dburns wrote:They could wait a couple days until they caught up on their own servers, couldn't they?
it goes both ways.
facebook isn't an application you install on your machine that comes with malware, it is a social media service used through a web browser. and while it's true it is notorious for datamining and targeted marketing, it can only mine the data you feed it. Arturia are not asking you to start using facebook to communicate with your friends and talk about your political beliefs, using your most secure email address. So i regret to inform you that your reasoning is completely, 100%, unequivocally invalid. if you want to cut your nose off to spite your face, so be it!
and I hate facebook.
