I've uploaded a copy of it on my dropbox ant put a download link here, it was deleted some minutes ago. I understand the forum rules, but I think that witouth the activation code, the download is not really useful and won't cause any harm to arturia.

Why not use the torrent posted here? It's the official installer.osiris wrote:Hi Denis,
would you have any problem with someone hosting the file so perhaps people who got activation codes could download it?
I don't have any space, but there's many generous people here. Of course, Arturia would not be responsible for any tomfoolery (stick that in Google translate)
If not, I can understand why.
Never hurts to ask, I always say.
(PS - This makes me want the SEM, so bad...)

No problem...help is very welcome! But you'll need a strong hosting solution!osiris wrote:Hi Denis,

I tried the torrent. It kept telling me connection closed by peer..
Denis says okay. Maybe a link can be posted that won't be deleted by the busy KVR cleanup crew

Woke up to my code and download this morning!! Weather is too nice to sit indoors today and play around with it but having never tried anything from Arturia in the past I am quite pleased so far from the presets I have heard.
If Arturia is reading this I must say a huge thanks!!!

Andy,
The point is,they didn't give many of us "stuff for free." We got nothing.
They had to know their bandwidth couldn't handle the demand. And they should have known that many people don't use Facebook, and don't care to use it.
I was only interested in the software because it was free. It was never on my wish list, so I didn't lose anything. It's just left me with a negative impression about the company and the offer.

I'm sure most got something. What about the good old "this time I was unlucky, maybe next time..."?We got nothing.
This discussion is funny (or silly?)
In the real world, if a shop has a special offer, they would write "while stocks last". Maybe it's out fast, maybe not so much people are coming. Sometimes the shop is surprised too about the demand. If it's sold out, most people would say "that's live".
When the ipadpodphone came out, crazy people started camping in front of the shop. Maybe some came to late and did not get one - did they say "I'll never buy Apple again"?
This even was a present, and people complain they did not get one. Is this the Internet generation "everything must be always there on my demand, and free"?! That's poor.
The torrent link (posted here early) is still working, I got a serial after 20 times hitting "retry" in my browser during 30 minutes. OK, not too much work. There was 24h time to try.
Is this plugin the holy grale, noone can continue living without?

Got my copy on the 4th try at the d/l link. Good emulation, actually bought it on CD-ROM when it first came out, just checking to see if this might run smoother/be different in any way.
While I appreciate getting this synth, let me play Devil's Advocate for a moment...
This is not a free plugin. To download the plugin, you have to advertise Arturia on Facebook (when you "like" their page) and you have to give your personal information to a 3rd party (the Sweepstakes app) From an industry perspective, these things are quantifiable, not free.
That being said, Arturia could have handled this promotion a little better. It's unlikely they were surprised by the site traffic they got from this. Cool plugin, but yeah, there's room for some complaints.
