Give it a go. I know you've got Diva but really this has a charm all it's own. The Template patches give you access to the Arp and Delay/Chorus but tweaking the efx is limited.... but it's still fun to tweak.

For those that did get this freebie. There are more presets banks for download on Arturia's website. Many are included in the freebie, others may not be so great. I like the Chris Laurence and MacMoney banks.

No. Because Facebook. Why? Because I'm not going to sit around trying to peg the Arturia website for 30 minutes just to get it without using Facebook. In fact, I do have a Facebook account. That's the reason I most definitely did not want to use the Facebook method to get the freebie. No, I'm not going to dick around creating new dummy email accounts and Facebook accounts. I have plenty of synths. If the freebie had been totally straight forward, I'd have tried out my first Arturia synth but that didn't happen. I've always been curious about their stuff but I hate dongles (one of the two major reasons I don't use my Cubade 4.5 license - the other is how crash prone it is on Mac- , and why I only ever use, grudgingly, Internet verification for Reason). Maybe this freebie would have impressed me and made me think more about trying other Arturia products, but the hassle was greater than my curiosity.

Actually I just learned you can control the Delay and Chorus through Midi CC's from your controller.....nice.

Mmhh - is 30 Minutes "work" really that much for a 150$ plugin? (I not say 250$ because not all features of the full version are adjustable).
I had hit the reload button here and there while doing other things, so I did not really loose too much time.
I think the internet is making people fastidious. In the past, we had to drive 100km for special offers, try to dial a telephone number 50 times or write postcards for give aways, these days even klicking with the left finger without even leaving the chair is already too much to get a 150$ present...

addendum: A Facebook account was NOT required. I did NOT use the Facebook method. They suggested this when the site was overloaded, but noone was forced to. The page with the serial request form was always there, but indeed took many tries to load. I think the only mistake they made was offering the software download from the same servers as the inquiry form. They should have used a filehoster for this or direct to the torrent more early. Next time the may know better. (I would be really curious about the number of downloads they got - maybe they will rethink about their pricing policy after it's clear now that many people are interested in their plugs but where kept away by the costs....)

Eh, like I said, it wasn't worth it to me. Believe it or not, while the Internet may make people more lazy, there's also just the fact that the initial presentation of the offer wasn't equal to the execution. That's legit. We can argue what's lazy and entitlement and whatnot, but, whatever, they failed to get my interest to be greater than the perceived inconvenience. Fact.

dis some basic a/b listens with Arturia Minimoog demo Vs MinimogueLUXUS,
and both are very enjoyable and useful. Those unable to get the Arturia,
won't find the freeware product disappointing. Its gui is a bit better,
and no hoops to jump through.
