Working on a new track, think its could be pretty cool once finished but cant help but think the mixing lets it down a bit (especially when compared to other peoples tracks i hear online).
Could anyone please spare a bit of advice/tips to get it on the right track?

I really need to listen through monitors but although I haven't:
I think the bass (bottom end) needs to tweaked. At times there's too much and other times very little.

I have used a separate track for the sub bass and have taken it out at certain points so that there is some breathing space (ideally would like some vox to fill it out when this happens) but i suppose it does get a bit thin in places which could be tweaked.
Is the bass simply too loud in places or is it muddy due to the frequencies (i.e to much low mid?)
Cheers for listening as well!
