Hello to everyone.

My name is Greg.

I'm a music student based in Guildford studying creative sound design at the Academy of Contemporary Music.

I'm here today because I wish to find out if its possible for me to fund the development of a plug-in idea i have.

I have no experience when it comes to programming, so this is why i need to find people with whom I can exchange ideas.

I'm looking for "forward thinking" people. This is a serious project.

Very much looking forward to the replies.

Kind regards,

Greg.

Good luck (I'm no programmer myself so can't help).

It's always possible to fund things that are possible if you have the funds. :D

OK, we're ready when you are...
We are the KVR collective. Resistance is futile. You will be assimilated. Image

Try to develop your idea with a modular synth like Reaktor, SynthEdit and so; or maybe you can try to write it in the simple scripting engine of Kontakt.

I'm currently developing a little instrument based on a marvellous idea like the one you had. And what I had to do was to learn all the VST specifics, DSP, and so (I'm far away for considering my knowledge deep, but I'm starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel :-)

Remember that probably your idea has been already discovered, and you just don't know that; or maybe it is discarded by the community since it don't give so many exciting results.

My advice is: if you have time and you don't have to mantain a family now, well, if it's what you like, throw yourself in the world of audioprogramming :-)
