This doesn't mean anything, obviously, but I caught that Hal Leonard publishing just added a book to their future releases (November, 2011) called
"Power Tools for Ableton 9." (http://www.halleonard.com/product/viewproduct.do?itemid=333217&lid=92&whatsnew=90&searchcategory=05&subsiteid=66&)

Live never crashes for me. People often blame the DAW when sometimes it's as simple as a poorly written plugin that often causes the crash.

Also, although I think it's implied, the retail version always works better, from what I hear.

live SOMETIMES, really rarely crash, but when it does, the recovery is pretty good, unlike logic 9

never crashed on me live but once when using my motu with xp, on my mac 100% solid for playing, only crashes i had were with heavy/fast editing, which doesnt occur live

In your opinion, do you think it's Live causing the crash or maybe the plugins you are using with built in latency causing it when you push Live too hard.

Just curious.

Love your studio, by the way.

never thought bout that latency compensation issue, maybe its the same thing that crashes logic when i go too fast, i should try a session only with built ins in both (i always end up using at least livecut in both even when doing all built in stuff tho, cant live without that one lol)

btw thanks for the studio comment :)

You are wrong there. You can do that for quite some time and you don't need M4L.

You can tweak it as you like. There is also three band, and two not just four..

Yes yes, but what about number nine??

They will start work on 9 after Bitwig comes out.

I did a six hour DJ set with Live 8 on Friday night ... no problems.
