I also like the smaller GUI better. I guess it's less scary than it's big brother because it has less controls.
Either way I am happy that you decided to release them both. I can't wait to try them out.
I sure hope you are going to write a small manual for this beast, afterall it's much more complicated than normal limiters. I am sure it would come in handy for many users who would like to understand what they are doing.
I also want to express you my gratitude for releasing Limiter 6 for free.

I don't know if any of you guys have noticed that there is a new pre-release version of limiter #6 together with the manual:

I just messed around with it and I must say it sounds rad on drumbus
I am missing the hpf sidechain from the old release though

Thank you for this great plugin!
But why did you remove the sidechain from the compressor?
It's was a really useful feature.
The HF limiter does wonders on taming harsh sounding hihats.
This plugin is a keeper on my drumbus for sure.

The sidechain filter fixed at ~105 Hz now. The idea was to make compressor as easy as possible. There's was too many knobs.filter303 wrote:But why did you remove the sidechain from the compressor?

Anyway it's not the last version. In next version I want to make a bunch of hidden extended parameters including sidechain, multiband and so on. So you can just wait for the next version!

I find the gui2 to be much easier to tweak, I keep tweaking air, the knobs don't move as far as I intended in gui1. Plus it's smaller and more original.
