Just shipped this! I fill orders manually, so it can take up to 24 hours, depending on what the day looks like, if I am asleep or traveling, etc.rob_lee wrote:Duh!![]()

I have Valhalla Shimmer and Uber Mod, should I get Room as well? What would I be getting that is different?

It depends what you need. ValhallaRoom is more of a "general purpose" reverb, while Shimmer and ÜberMod are targeted towards much weirder and more psychedelic reverbs (and pitch and modulation effects). I'd try the demo and see if ValhallaRoom gives you a sound you can use.Bobbotov wrote:I have Valhalla Shimmer and Uber Mod, should I get Room as well? What would I be getting that is different?

Well, since I am weirder and most definitely more psychedelic I think I might have all I need:-) However, I will do as you suggest.valhallasound wrote:It depends what you need. I can't beleive what im hearing here. This plugin is amazing like no other reverb iv'e used yet. It suits my needs perfectly. For $50 this is a steal and i will pick up your other plugins this week too Sean so thanks.
Will update my website now and place a link to the Valhalla Dsp site there on my ABOUT page.

Just ditch the ones in my DAW mate. That's all i was using but i now have the Valhalla Room one in place of the S1 reverbs and the new track sounds 1000x better.filter303 wrote:Hey Rob, what reverb plugins you are ditching?

Room and Shimmer user here. Love them both. Room has some great huge verbs in it, but I use it more to put my isolation cabinet guitar tracks into a "room." It's excellent for this, far better than room impulses. Shimmer gets used for "endless" type reverbs. I combined them on one track, it's huge.

Studio One has very good collection of quality fx plugins in my opinion.
I should try to use them more. I got so many plugins that I have paid for so I try to justify having them by using them instead
It's interesting to see what you can cook with the Ubermod. So far I haven't got enough the time to learn to use it properly, but just browsing through the presets make it clear that it's really versatile tool.
Maybe we can expect a bank ubermod presets from you later?

I just been making some custom presets for the Room reverb it does nice delay sounds too. I use Studio One too however as i like all the other FX in there they just don't cut it compared with this Valhalla Room plugin. For $50 im kicking myself i didn't buy it earlier. Can't wait to have the new one delivered later too cause that'll go straight into a track aswellfilter303 wrote:Studio One has very good collection of quality fx plugins in my opinion.
