I am really impressed with the pulteq emulation and altec EQ's. The Vintage series motown Eqs are as good as they get and the british bundle and Tape sim also will hold their own against any other similar plugins. Lets not forget they had to change their copy protection because of all the pirates and how this is destroying the software companies. Im still sorry kjaerhus audio went under, probably because of things like this. Im hoping this magma rack will be nothing but top class algorithms that will help Normad factory standout again as a reputable software company.
Again, the blueverb reverb also speaks quality, or tell me if Im wrong
U remember Kjaerhus? Interesting, especially considering that you only signed up this month here (just as the OP and the third guy who praised Nomad in this very thread)

...Because the day someone joins KVR is the first day they ever buy, use, or know anything about any plugins ever...

Of course not... you can either have been lurking or could have been going by another moniker for years. Signing up @KVR is a dead simple process after all - it is not like you have to prove your identity or something.

why not ask other Kvr users:

Thanks Trakstar,

You are right, the speakers is an important part of the chain. Once my room sound will be improved (and I know it needs it, the bass response being so badly distributed in the studio), I will get myself a decent pair of speakers. And I will check your link too.

Thanks!!

Trakstar you are an absolute legend! Thank you so much for the detailed reply and for taking the time to respond. Its guys like you that make these forums such invaluable sources of information because at the end of the day, its all about the music. Ive got cracking on all the info you have sent over and pretty sure im close to what im trying to achieve but if theres any chance you can bump me over a midi to rowanjohnson@mail.com and i can compare what i have to what you mean then i can check im heading in the right direction.

Thank you again mate for the help, Ro

 Spot on :tu: Pretty much the same as I was thinking. A rancid mess of guitar rig but no doubt no as good plus don't crack (whatever they are called now) type glaring/toxic eyesores for each GUI on top of which I am pretty certain sound rather mediocre/samey/me too at best.

Indeed "Groundbreaking" and BALLIN' BLUD FO'SHO 8)

Exuse Me I think I am going to be sick, Then I can go make all the genres

So, what were you saying was 'interesting' then?

That the only praise for Nomad in this thread comes from guys who registered this month... that doesn't mean they all have to be sock-puppets or even just one of them... all is possible. Of course not everything that smells like fish is fish. But does it smell fishy? Oh boy, it does - which personally I find interesting.

There is a thread about Magma already btw. - but it died away quickly, apparently due to lack of severe interest in the product at hand. And then this one came along...

I like Nomad quite a lot and then some... but sock-puppets or not, their PR machine isn't too effective.

It's also interesting that two of them spell the company's name "Normad"...

I thought their new plugin sounded good and apart from a few reservations concerning macro control over individual units I might have bought it. If they do add macro controls on the rack then I'll definitely buy it. I'm not saying none of these threads are started by people affiliated to Nomad but to then imply that any positive feedback is sockpuppetry is going over the top methinks.

Considering that most devs aren't exactly shy about bumping their own products and this is normal practice on KVR I believe it's unlikely that NF would resort to SP when they don't even need to. They can just bump away like every other dev does. I've certainly bumped my own threads on occasion in an attempt to get more help with a plugin problem I'm having.
