Yes but I still don't like their iLok requirements such as with Jupiter-8.

Well, I noticed no requirement for that. I got Jupiter-8v as free instrument with Analog Laboratory(actually Prophet, CS80 and Oberheim as well).

But it's Syncrosoft the crap that runs the HDD-stored licenses. All went well until you came to one(Oberheim) that was not in the license database - and you were in for a ride with browse to Syncrosoft, update software because there were a new version not compatible with new database, then update the license databases, then activate and download the license. All took about 20 minutes to through with numerous long timeouts and strange error messages in between.

But had no problem since then - but that Syncrosoft still has these not so well thought out operations after two years from my last encounter trying to get a license down to Syncrosoft key to run Cubase Trial - which never succeded. Sad indeed...

I fear buying more Arturia stuff that makes me go through that crap again.

I want to, but can't afford the cost or hassle. If the price was like $50 I might. I'm sure they are great and way cheaper than the real gear, but $50 is about my cap to buy software code since it gets out dated with every new OS upgrade.

Also dongles and/or very trouble some codes and stuff waste my time so I don't bother with them at all.

I usually work with freeware for the lack or dongle/protection first, and the price second.

I've been considering getting their ARP2600, but I've been nervous about how much it sounded like the real thing.

Never had an issue with eLicenser, moving licenses between dongles soft or otherwise takes about 20 seconds.

I'd rather they didn't use it as I have two computers and don't like swapping the dongle about in case it got damaged.

Not to burst your bubble, but I believe (I could be wrong) that the SEM is exempt from the freebie selection. (It lists for more money than the others.)

IM(H-ish)O: It doesn't. It sounds good, but it's not an ARP.

TimewARP, IM(H-ish)O is a slightly better representation of the original sound. But, as you've heard a bajillion times on KVR, and you'll hear a quadrizillion more: if you're looking for a particular sound, buy that particular thing.

Yes, I bought The Analog Experience The Laboratory, got 3 free synths, and I'm considering getting Spark while the promo for the free V collection is still running.

No. It's great for a freebie, but I've already got way more plug-ins than I need, especially virtual analogs.
