But since it's so typical to show the hardware first, then wouldn't people often use the software first, seeing as it's the most obvious way to confuse listeners?

Or did he know this, so instead of first, it was second, but since he knew we would know, he put it first?
I thought that too hehe.

I know. It's just a quick test. I don't have enough samples. If this gains enough interest, I'll need to buy the original unit first (although I think it's overpriced, that's why I 'm trying to make a plugin).

Added a second example (with the same order).
Come on friends, 20 more votes and I'll give the solution... :)

I voted minotaur second, so I really hope yours is the second :P

sorry wok, but we know the solution. second demo sound is even more devastating for plugin's self-confidence.. 1. is hw - if not, moog is very overpriced ;)

voted 1 is hardware
nr2 sounded a bit out of control which i like!!

Can i have both? :D

If the oscillators aren't the same how can we compare the filters? For a proper test you should have filtered a recorded wave from the hardware.

Guys, don't take it so seriously! It's just a fun test! :)

OSC and Filter in a Moog belong together, so the sound together is the point. And as Crackbaby says, it's just a quick'n'easy test. But I'm trying longer already to nail this Moog wave and filter , and I think it will work.

And by the way: Image    :D

The SM Pro Audio V-Machine software VFX allows to run Windows VST-plugins on the Mac.
