Ironically, I have to withdraw my entry, as I didn't really feel any love with it (which is an essential part of my idea of "making music"):

My pleasure, matephotonic wrote: Second I want to thank Bzur who gave me the hint for a newer/better version of MinimogueVA. This was my forth try and it worked in cubase without troubles. Thank you mate! You made this track possible.

Quite late at night
Didn't have as much time as I would have liked... Always too busy these days... anyway... I managed to make one tune:
jackoo - Thunder Mogue
http://soundcloud.com/vdxi/vdx-thunder-mogue
Programmed in EnergyXT, and then rendered and sequenced in Cubase 5.
7 instances of MinimogueLUXUS
2 instances of ZynAddSubFX for FX (reverb, echo and EQ only)
LE: After some research:
Now that I've realised: Original melody form Thunderbirds (NES) video game
Stage Theme 4 Junichi Saito, Masaki Iwamoto, Hitoshi Saito
http://www.vgmpf.com/Wiki/index.php?tit ... _%28NES%29
Originally I played the thing from memory. I used to play that game a looong time ago

Cheers for the submissions and nice comments.
Decent number of entries this month despite the early tech troubles.

nice entry with only 1 instance___loser wrote:This is my entry
___loser - one synth challenge
daw - Chaotic
1 instance of minimogueLUXUS
effects - Ferric TDS
ThrillseekerLA
JB PC-2
but at the end too minimalistic, e.g. too repetitive and too boring
BTW, didn't know about Chaotic - really interesting sequencer
so thank you for drawing my attention to that DAW

Yep!
BTW, do you already know the synth for the next OSC?
Great title and well done song.photonic wrote:The dark side of the Moog

Yes, since you probably are all mooged out it seemed like a good idea with a change of sound, but then thought better of it so Arturia's Minimoog-V it will be..CapDan(X) wrote:BTW, do you already know the synth for the next OSC?

Your welcome, and thank you for the feedback! yeah I kind of just let the last phase go after I relized I needed some dire mastering skills to bring it to life.

LAST MINUTE DELIVERY!
http://soundcloud.com/ruedirena/ruedirena-hot-stuff-1
We used Minimogue Luxus in an older incarnation, so no oversampling was applied.
As usual DAW was Reaper, 27 instances of Minimogue, a lot of patches made from scratch, some slightly tweaked, FX are Classic Delay, Classic Reverb, ReaEQ, JS Limiter, TAL reverb II and III, NO! compression
Yippih!
