And like i said, if your host application provides a generic UI you can use that as well.

Yes pretty much any host lets you directly edit parameters, like Ableton Live where you open up the parameters in the device window. This way, you have access to all the parameters except for drop downs and some buttons. Actually, now I'd wish to change my vote as I just bought the SEM license after doing more work with the minimoog-v. Guess their promotion worked.

On it's own I don't think it really affected me at all, but combined with their price lowering, plus the fact I realized I could use my Cubase dongle to store my licence, pushed me onto getting their SEM V. I have WOK's SEM plugin and that's really good and has it's own character (especially in 'old' mode), but what I really liked about the Arturia SEM (other than a basic, open "chunky" sound) was the addition of the voice and keyfollow programmers, which let you do some really cool stuff that'd be hard or impossible with a modmatrix alone.
I'd really like to pick up the Minibrute at some point, too.

Same here. Cant really say that i like ALL of their synths, (e.g. their Jupiter 8 and CS-80 are totally not my cup of tea), but their ARP 2600...son of a gun, what character!Phase47 wrote:Guess their promotion worked.
