Hopefully not. I hope it's more like the screenshot above.....

The feature set looks really great. It seems to strike that perfect balance between simplicity and depth of modulation options. Cant wait to download the demo once it's made available and put it through it's paces. Especially eager to see if the new proprietary filter modelling is a step up from that in Xils 3, PolyKB & Synthix.

well, the one at the website shows both colour schemes, but its the readablitiy of the text im concerned about, hopefully the GUI is bigger....

The GUI is bigger than NI Massive, and a bit bigger than the Synthix one for example. Knobs are big and easy. As for the orange skin, I've worked with it several hours with it without any trouble, but of course this can be different for different people.

As for the sound, all the sound designers currently working on it find it gorgeous, and distinct, as the team has worked as a whole for tons of big HW and SW synth companies, I'm inclined to believe them, + it is also what I think of Oxium.

Now, everyone will be able to judge with the demo.

The prerelease version of Oxium will be released, if all goes well, on July 5th or 7th.

It will contain a minimal number of presets ( around 50/75 ) while the final release will occur on July 21, including the full preset library, and a few additional features. The content of the factory library will be the main difference though.

Oxium is qvery affordable : The MSRP Price is 99€

The intro price will be even more appealling.

i dont care how it compares to other synths, i only care about being able to read the labels...so, is that the ACTUAL SIZE???

Post

^^ nope. it's bigger.

Yes, that shouldn't be a surprise to anyone, just a slight disappointment in anticipation to get our hands on this synth ;)
It was just a matter of taking a shot at an existing instrument page, and renaming it with the Oxium name.
Anyway, looking forward to the preordering possibilities.

No. Just DL the image I put in the second post and read it in your browser.

Else : all the audio demos will be piled in post three of this thread.

I think I have a few dozens of them, so I will put them as they come, and as I translate them into Mp3 etc etc. When there's a possible comment on the mp3, I'll do it.

Here's a simple demo ( I dont know the musical genre maybe ambient ? )

All Oxium including .......... the drums. No comps , no Eq, no daw automation, all stereo scenes and movements are native Oxium etc. One general generic reverb. Sonalsis Limiter on the master bus.

Whoaaa!!! Is it for real?

I never win anything - this is just so great! :)

BTW I've been humming this tune all day, so this pretty much sums it all up:

Thanks for the competition! Then I also want to thank the jury, the producers, fellow musicans (nod, nod) ... (*wipes tears from eye* *waves statuette in air*)

P.S.
The examples sound awesome. "Le oxium" seems to be capable of doing a lot of cool stuff.

Great demo Ltz. Can't say I'm convinced by the bottom end although that's probably a mix issue but there's a real warmth to all those mid and higher register sweeps you've got going on in that demo, and that's the area where virtual analogs usually give away their digital nature.

Sounding very nice indeed. :)
