Any love for Ricochet around here? Don't see it mentioned much.

Never really got my head around the feedback implementation, don't think the audio demos really illustrate the principle well. Does it add much?

Cheers.

It's a very good multitap-delay.
I still have it in my arsenal beside EchoBoy and Timeless, and this means something...:)
Great sound, easy-to-use, 32/64bit, bugfree...

Nothing sexy about this delay, but IMHO it's probably overlooked given its utility. I get along great with my DAW delays (Live) and have RP Delay (which is practically a suite of effects), but so often I just want to set a specific set of taps with some filter/volume/panning (yeah - Space Designer), especially for those one-shot delay effects at a break, etc.

The interface has a few niggles but overall it's easy to use, and has all the basic tools you'd expect (solo/mute for taps, hi-lo-bandpass filters), and a few extras like a chorus and saturation.

Not aware of anything else like it for this price on the Mac especially - there are a few other great new delays for more $ (D-16's new one looks to be awesome and on my list!), but this is pretty much perfect for what it does.

If you're on a Mac, you might also want to look at Sinevibes Multitude. But yeah, I have Ricochet and it's great for what it does. Easy to use as well.

:tu: Multitude - I think I bought it the day it came out. I think of it more as a special effect than a delay designer - you can use if for that to some extent but it has some drawbacks as a straight-ahead delay (I don't think you can trigger by note for example). Still a no-brainer for the $.

My favorite multitap delay.
