What's changed:
  • When adding an automation track, but no parameters are found, now an auto-hide alert informs you about this.
  • Fixed a possible crash bug when drag-dropping VST parameters.
  • "Super Modulator" renamed to "Multi-Point Envelope".
  • Improved labelling of VST inputs/outputs.
  • "Revert Preset" now includes a "Are you sure?" alert.
  • Finetuned doubleclick detection.

I did Templates->New, set some stuff up, then closed (without having saved). MuLab asked if I wanted to save and I said yes. It saved. To the New.MuSession template... which was unexpected...
Sorry for the late reply on this. Checked this, you're right, and it indeed should not be the case, not for template sessions nor for demo sessions. Tuned in the next version.

New MuLab 4.3.6 packages are available in http://www.mutools.com/mulab/cedar

What's changed:
  • When opening an editor that is larger than the screen (eg when the session was saved on a different system than the one on which it's loaded) then it's ensured that at least some part of the window border is visible so you can access the window's context menu.
  • Fixed: Multi-Point Envelope editor was broken.
  • When opening a template or demo session, you must first use 'Save As' to save it under a specific (new) name.
  • When dropping a new parameter onto a meta-parameter, then when you 'Cancel' the Edit Mapping dialog box, no new mapping is added.
  • Fixed: 'Replacing' a VST plug-in by another VST plug-in while the VST editor was open caused a crash.
  • Includes Andreas' new "Ensemble" preset.

Ha! Congratulations on 64bit

[edit] Eh...this does seem to mean that 3rd party 32bit plugins can't be used anymore? I guess there's no wrapper thingy for that? Kjaerhus Classic Master Limiter didn't load (invalid vst plugin msg)[/edit]

Solution 1: jBridge - http://jstuff.wordpress.com/jbridge/ (I've not used it)
Solution 2: (specific to Kjaerhus Classic Master Limiter) I recently switched over to the MDA limiter. Reaper was reporting plugin delay across the Kjaerhus plugin but the MDA one appears zero-delay. And there's 64bit versions - http://rekkerd.org/mda-plug-ins-updated-2010-02-14/ (and downloads)

Another option is to keep using MuLab 4 32 bit.

It's close. Working on some last bugs & issues, and preparing the release.

Thanks for the replies.

Great to see this happening in M4 already. :tu: I was expecting this to be in M5 to be honest.

The next obvious question would be: any ETA on multicore support now, M4 or M5? :)
No band limits, aliasing is the noise of freedom!

Once MUX Vst is released, hopefully soon now, i'll continue on the multicore research. Depending on that research and its conclusions i'll decide whether it will be for M4.5 or M5.
