OK then.

And now we have a self-appointed mod to drive me out of here. Thanks very much, but this is all very wrong...

I really don't understand what you have done wrong here. Some people really overreacted here.

Unfortunately I have noticed the similar pattern in many threads here.
If you make too many questions or dislike even one feature of a product, you might be in a danger in becoming one of the "bad" people.
I guess that the fanclub expects to hear only praise instead of anythin else.

I like variety of sound plugins very much, but I don't see any reason why I should become upset because of your posts. Has KVR become a forum for people to discuss only the things everyone agrees?
Where is the so much touted tolerance when you really need it?

So many impatient and rude people here who are not cabable of understanding different opinions
I find myself not liking what kvr has become. Writing here these days is like talking to a schizophrenic people; you have to beware of everything you say or do so you don't freak them up.

I really wish this forum had zero tolerance for insults and rude behaviour towards others.

Oh and sheikh, don't go anywhere. This forum needs more people like you

His questions were badgering and starting to get obnoxious. Forums are for questions, but obnoxious is obnoxious---it gets tedious on forums and everywhere else.

It should have been clear to him after five or six pages that Herbert is doing this in his own way and it's a miracle that he does anything at all for you, me, him, or anyone else of this quality and then asks nothing in return for it.

I think that's enough for people to leave him alone when all the signs are there that he will offer whatever information he chooses to in whatever style, and in whatever time frame he wants to. To ask once or twice is fine, but the poster in question went beyond that and, as far as I'm concerned, that was rude behavior.

Now, that's MY opinion as I'm choosing to freely express it in this thread.

i never quite understood this "it's free so shut up and eat it" attitude.
I don't know what to write here that won't be censored, as I can only speak in profanity.

Shut up and eat what? There's nothing to eat. You have some great plug-ins and you have the blogs Herbert posted about them. Some additional questions were asked. Some were answered, some were not. Maybe more will be answered later.

That's it. Now go do something with the plug-ins, figure out what they are good for by experimenting with them, and drop it. I don't understand why that's something some people can't accept.

there are all sorts of valid reasons for not answering questions - such as "i forgot", "i missed it", "i thought i already answered it" etc. to at least show that they're not ignored is common courtesy. there aren't a whole lot of questions in this thread.

while experimenting is certainly a good way to understand the plugin, to have the big picture you ought to understand the concept behind how things are working and why they are working this way. experimentation alone will never be complete. this is why we ask the questions in the first place - to better understand how to use the plugin and where it might fit.

Well, you have to explain the obvious time and again, and people still don't seem to understand. Talking about the 'turn the knobs and listen' crowd here.

On my part, I think it's legitimate to ask 'what is this 3d audio Herbert's been raving about and how is he doing it' until - hopefully - this question gets answered. This is a central and very important question, both with regards to Density and in general. Please don't tell me people don't want to know!!!

And I'm NOT complaining, I have NOT been impolite!

Anyways, I'm leaving it here. Hopefully, this thread will go in a better direction.

I'll take a day or two off. Maybe I'll come up with some other questions, if Herbert is still around and in answering mode...

he kinda answered that with his reply about tessla, transients and stereo image.

That's what I understood too - the answer is in that post.

This question is like "How does it FEEL to have sex ??"

When you engage certain presets and/or settings, you feel like the sound "grows" on you, "encompass you" - so to speak. you can explain it in technical tern but that would miss the point (just as you SURELY don't want to
know what happens in the pleasure center in the brain while having sex).

There are things you just cannot express in words... you just KNOW IT, by EXPERIMENTING.
Professional technicians are assessed by the abilities they possess.
Amateur technicians are assessed by the tools they possess - and the amount of those tools, with an obvious preference to the latest hyped ones.

Take us to the next level, bootsie, I know you can!

A more complicated story takes more time to tell. Either way, answers will come, I guess. I know you weren't trying to be rude or too pushy.

I don't know him, but I wouldn't be so sure that Herbert can allow spending a whole afternoon on KvR; just to explain the underlying mechanics of his complex technology. Also this is the reason I should not worry about any "ignored" or "missed" answers.

Would he be rude for a weekend off this forum?
