Can we start having KVR soaps-on-tape?
Codec could write the scripts, we need someone to voice it. Does stephen fry post here?

Honestly I'd download it. Imagine a podcast of KVR highlights and recaps, from a sports announcer angle...
I run a netlabel http://oligopolistrecords.bandcamp.com

Will it come with presets?

Honestly

It would totally depend the case and not as a general policy , but i'm convinced at a certain degree that it could be successful related the kind of costumers that would be targeted ?

no, im not saying there are no sound designers who do interesting work, im saying that the majority of sounds included in synths are aimed at musicians who do more mainstream music.

there are several sound designers who over the years have done work that has impressed me and been useful even
tim conrardy, may he rest in peace, did some awsome work that i leraned a lot from, scot solida, again taught me many things and worked outside the mainstream with the sounds he was producing, many good starting points for me to twea in to use. teksonik bak when he was doing patches for stuff, again some work i could tweak..
kolin did some great absynth patches that i love!

as i said earlier, im not anti preset, im just not into the sounds that the majority of synths are filled with, but i also understand why they are shipped with these sounds

You just would not let it lie would you. After all attempts to take this thread into frivolity, you had to have a go!

Vurt. At what point will you admit defeat? What does it take? You are like the Monty Python Knight. Limbless, but unbowed. I mean, you know it's a bad sign when debra starts posting?

Oh wait a minute. My ironometer just puked out. I have a mr. Teksonik on the line. Let me get back to you, yah. I just HAVE to take this call.

Who dares make a fuss after such a statement.
Then codec_spurt comes along and posts a rambling nonsensical diatribe clearly fueled by some controlled substance.......yep this thread has it all.... :tu:

How dare you try to out irony my irony. I mean, if anyone has grounds for recourse sir, it is the good white rabbit. I believe I, ever so subtly, called him a deep fat fried mars bar weegie, type. If ever there was grounds for a good slapping that would have been it. And quite deservedly so. Please Rabbit, don't hurt me...

You, however, take umbrance at what? Please tell me how I have offended you, sir.

You say: "Then codec_spurt comes along and posts a rambling nonsensical diatribe clearly fueled by some controlled substance.......yep this thread has it all.... "

Controlled substance you say. What do you know of these things? Dimethyltryptamine? You have that now in your brain. Cannabis? Oh no, I don't smoke it no more. (No dealers here where I live more's the pity) So not that one. What else does that leave? Meth? No, my skin is clean and serene.

You make some pretty big jumped up statements mr. holier than thou. Care to back them up? I'll give you a clue and let you off the hook little fishy:
Alchohol. Bought it from the corner shop in a brown paper bag (don't want the neighbours to get the wrong idea ;-)).

You are clearly fueled by hate and prejudice. You are a bore, sir. I enjoyed most heartily seeing you taken down a peg or two in that post where you did not reply. Will you reply to me, sir?
I so hope you do. If Mr. Vurt would give permission for his thread to be used as an arena for jousting of apposite intellects. I'm sure he would. Top bloke that Vurt.

What do you say? Up for it? Eh? :o

all synths should be free, the're pretty much all the same anyway, everyone has stolen ideas from someone who has stolen them from someone else etc etc

and all the presets are pretty much the same in each synth, same ppl repeat presets for each 'new' synth...

and all the songs sound the same too....

but no two synths sound the same, and yet they all sound the same...

all the posts here are the same...diff threads, same shit

i think i said 'pretty much' too much, didnt i?

What the...hell...are you talking about? What post was I supposedly "taken down a peg" ? You're not making any sense...again. Prejudice? Where do you get that? Because I disagreed with some internet friend of yours? Damn man get..a..life. I never even corresponded with you in this thread yet you keep bringing my name up....you got something against me or is it just some weird man crush you have?

Why don't you just put the bottle down and back away from the keyboard.....
