BTW: are there any tutorials concerning the more specific zebrify-stuff?
(Since it has some additional functions)

Good call... we should look into that (after releasing Zebra3, because apart from what's happening next week we're concentrating all our efforts on Z3)Arrested Developer wrote:BTW: are there any tutorials concerning the more specific zebrify-stuff?

All that + "DivaGlobals" is perhaps a ref. to the inclusion of Diva's effects algo's?digidennis wrote:A special Hans Zimmer - Dark night rises Zebra edition will be released the 20. of July ( as the movie ) with presets from the trilogy, new skin and most importantly 'new' filter types based on the DIVA LPF+HPF source.

Nope, no Diva effects algos in there... but a pretty spiffy voice based compressor setup and a recreation of the String Resonator found in Polymoogs. Think of a setting at a posh Schnitzel place in Berlin, some time in November. A small conspirative group including Gerd from Moon Modular, Daniel Miller of Mute fame, HZ and yours truely.BDeep wrote:"voice based compressor setup" - i wouldn't even know what to make of that. HZ: "I want compressors in the Voice Grid!"
UH: "How about compressors below the GRID lanes, one behind each VCA?"
HZ: "Yes!"

So, it's obvious that filter modules are coming from Diva to Zebra.
For the less-obvious, I imagine Zebra is now going to have stacked voicing and detune options, as well as different quality/accuracy modes. And even better, the modulation options are going to be enhanced with Diva's approach to modulation (e.g., now have multiply, lag, rectify, etc)
And now, you can open a full patch per voice lane and set Zebra to either treat those as layers or as some form of multitimbral option.

I have no doubt, coming from such an illustrious group of people, that it is very useful. But I propably have to try it first hand to see how to use it in practice.
Because.... well...
