Help.... 149 vs 99 = 99 will turn back to 350 soon. Sept. I think.

My heart lies with DUNE but looking at your list I think AT3 might be the best bet especially since the sale is over soon....Do you play guitar?

It looks like you are hurting for plugs, I would buy both if I were you
but seriously if you bought DUNE, Rob lee has two awesome patch banks for it and currently on sale for only 10 euros, which is a steal! http://www.roblee-music.com/

You would use the effects or the amps (or both)?royaldeadman wrote:No I'd just use it on my vsts or what not.
AT3 has good stuff but I don't think they are head and shoulders about anyone else and you can get the equivalent effects from other developers. There are some great free amp emu's out there too, like SimuAnalog and Juicy (I use the stereo GUI versions of both of them found here: http://requietus.blogspot.com/2008/12/s ... e-gui.html

You have Guitar Rig 5 Pro already... Plus TheMagma, and Ampire in S1... Why look into Amplitube 3?royaldeadman wrote:Dune vst or ik multimedia has amplitube 3 for $99 special deal. reg 350.

That's what I'd do.royaldeadman wrote:I think for the price I need to jump on this.
Then pick up DUNE later on.
This is the same method MJ used when he was working on Anthony Marinelli's Thriller.

amplitube 3 is beyond rocking baby. This instantly take a single lead or sine wav and turns it into something that amazes the hell out of me.
Way to go and Im glad I did.

Using what? I have a cut down version upgraded from AT2 and some pedals and amps I bought in the Custom Shop. I'd like to know how you are transforming synth leads.royaldeadman wrote:amplitube 3 is beyond rocking baby. Your Guitar Rig 5 can't do this?royaldeadman wrote:amplitube 3 is beyond rocking baby. This instantly take a single lead or sine wav and turns it into something that amazes the hell out of me.

I would be interested in hearing some comparisons, too. I'm... skeptical.A.M. Gold wrote:royaldeadman wrote:amplitube 3 is beyond rocking baby. This instantly take a single lead or sine wav and turns it into something that amazes the hell out of me.

This was the craziest purchase.royaldeadman wrote:[Do you play guitar?] No I'd just use it on my vsts or what not.
You don't play guitar and you have Guitar Rig yet you jumped at Amplitube because it was on sale? What could you possibly do with VSTs in Amplitube that you could not do in Guitar Rig? I'll answer this for you......absolutely nothing. Quite the contrary, Guitar Rig has several effects that are too off the wall for guitar that could work better with a keyboard and VSTs.
I do play guitar and own Amplitube including the Fender pack as well as Guitar Rig. I am not suggesting there is anything wrong with Amplitube.
EDIT: I see Spectrasonics listed in your signature. Which product?
