Sorry about the crappy thread title. Though I was on the reaper site when it happened and I that site provided a warning, it was a virus that somehow seeped in searching for netflix.

Sorry for the odd thread. Here's a cat to make up for the confusion

Edit: It was the reaper forums.

It must have been the I was searching about netflix. I guess I won't do that anymore since I got at nasty virus.

I dunno. I've never had problems before. It was scary but that computer is OFFLINE and though I've got it where it works a clean install is going to happen this week. I'm going to put a couple extra safeguards in place.

what a shitty week (DTV is f**ked, computer f**ked, too f**king hot, problems with benefits. f**king nice.)

Can't find anything of substance tied to netflix. Some oddity with Silverlight.
It can be allowed multiple install with several versions. Might be lucky to
insure only one version gets on the clean install.

I don't know what to say other than it happened, and it's pretty f**king scary. It was the "security shield" virus (and another "virus checking" virus, but can't remember which one) That computer is off the net until I clean swipe/install over it.

I don't have a magic crystal ball that tells me exactly what happened but it was while connected to the reaper site and then searching netflix

wow that might explain why my wifes laptop went down the other day I had to do a fresh windows install for her. I am glad I watch netflix via my xbox
