Hi Lotuzia. I love the sounds, but I'm having the strangest problem with it- for some reason my DAW isn't saving the sounds when I close a project (cubase). This is only happening with these particular presets (I'm also on a mac). I tried other xils plugins and even other presets from other synthix banks and they are all saving as per normal. But for some reason I can't get these new sounds to stay. To be clear, the sounds remain saved within Synthix, but when I reopen the project, if I have a synthix part that was using a preset from this bank, it comes up as an Init patch and doesn't remember the preset I had saved. I don't know what I did wrong. Do you have any ideas?

Guys I just recently picked up PolyKB, Synthix, and today I got Oxium!! Love them in a big way!! I have to both analog bag 1-2 for both kb and synthix, I want more!! Please stir me the right direction:)

OXIUM sounds like albino!! If albino was working out using steroids.. Not knocking it but albino was my first love and now I feel like a cheater!:)

Actually it's me who should apologize for beeing so unclear in my explanations ( Sorry working too much hours per day atm so its a bit tough to remain clear sometimes )

What I meant is : Could you try to EXPORT the bank ( using EXPORT funtion of the Synthix ) with a different name of course, then IMPORT the bank you have just exported, and see if now the projects keep the presets OK when you reload a project. ( I think you'll have to make a quick demo project to see if everything is fixed, or resave an already existing project with the preset in the newly created bank, and see if it works ok like this )

Hi Lotuzia. Ok- I tried the export rename then reimport. It hasn't effected anything. For some reason, it isn't saving the preset associated with the track. When I reopen a project it just goes back to the factory default. I don't understand why this isn't happening with any other banks. Is it possible I don't have the presets in the correct file directory on my computer? But still the bank shows up every time I open Synthix up. Any ideas?

This said if I had to choose, I'd probably pick up the 4 arms and hands options : Would make me a better KB player

We'll sort that out when we come back from holydays dont worry if there's an issue on Xils side it will be found


Then if Ingo has not the same issue it can give some clues.

I just tested this with the PC version of Synthix using Ableton Live 8.3.3 and Windows 7 32-bit.
I could confirm this problem with the PC version. If i reload a project with one of the presets of the new soundbank the "init" preset instead of the correct one is shown. If i use a preset from a different bank this seems to work like it should. Basically i could confirm all your observations.

Thanks so much, Ingo! Well, I feel less stupid now I am sure they will have a fix for this soon. If you hear something, please let me know here Also, I may have mentioned I'm on a mac, so it appears to be an issue without regard to platform.
