So what are the limitations of the HZ version? Why wouldn't someone just buy it instead of Zebra 2? (I already own Zebra 2 so it's more out of morbid curiosity).

Believe it or not but as a child I built the Voyager bridge in my roombmrzycki wrote:
I just took some (a lot) of old cardboards, glued some white paper on it and painted all the controls on it
I got a "Tricorder" and a phaser at a Star Trek convention and played hours with it on my own small Voyager

I assume it is an add on more than a separate product.......Teksonik wrote:So what are the limitations of the HZ version? Why wouldn't someone just buy it instead of Zebra 2? (I already own Zebra 2 so it's more out of morbid curiosity).
think of it is like presets (with an included special player that needs zebra2 license)
well that's my guess anyway

This is the official (under)statement of the boss himself.Urs wrote:We just had a go at the patches in our studio. Prepare yourselves!
I want to say this: I'm absolutely blown away by these presets!!! And I mean totally. What I heard there did touch lots of nerves. Very, very expressive sounds with a lot of depth in the controls.
There are things happening that I didn't hear before in a synth that I played myself. And then I listened to what Urs did with these patches, man...
There are several patches that could do as a soundtrack for certain scenes for minutes alone. And that is because they are so deep, with several layers and tons of expression through Modwheel, Breath Control, Aftertouch and XY Controls.
OK, I stop for now. I'm looking forward to your reactions when you will hear what I'm talking about.
