Hi,
I ordered 'Beat Workzone 02/12' mainly for the included 'Waldorf Edition LE'. Does anybody know how the copy protection / serial number is handled?
On 'http://www.waldorf-music.info/en/le-activation.html' one can request an activation key. There is a field named 'Coupon Code'. Does this mean, the Beat magazine will include a coupon code which one has to use on this page?
I'm just researching, because later I want to upgrade to full edition.
Thanks in advance for any insights,

Looking at the form on said page, it seems that entering your name and mail is sufficient. Does this imply that the Waldorf Edition is available for everyone (ie. also non-magazine owners)? Or do you need the install files as they come with the cd?
Thanks
Thanks

I don't think it would be a problem. The installer is downloadable from the Waldorf site, so...
Anyway, i bought the nice magazine too.
Has anyone tried these plugs in Ableton Live 8? They keep crashing Live when i drag one into the project...

that said, I couldnt get any of them to work in any host as it would crash upon opening (presumably when it should be asking for the autorisation code)
(Win XP 32 bit) - YMMV

The plugins worked fine for me in Vista x64/Audiomulch 32bit . However waldorfs upgrade prices are a bit extreme... ;(

I ordered it too, three weeks ago. Have yet to find it in my mailboxpaulbreeze wrote:I ordered 'Beat Workzone 02/12' mainly for the included 'Waldorf Edition LE'. Does anybody know how the copy protection / serial number is handled?
Note that Waldorf is having a sale this weekend. So you could get 30% of the Waldorf edition from them which would be €41,3 (normal price €59)

Great. Thanks.
[with 30% discount]
The upgrade price to Waldorf Edition full would be only 34.30 EUR ...
and another 69.30 EUR if one would like to upgrade to PPG v3.
One cannot skip the WE full upgrade, the PPG v3 full price would be 118.30 EUR (vs. 103.60 EUR upgrade route).
Now only if I could decide if its worth it...
d-pole is full in the WE LE. PPG v2's limitation is 1 midi in and 8 voices. Until now I found no use for Attack...
PPG v3 would be nice, but on the other hand 103.60 EUR ...

Won't you need the LE installers anyway? Only the full version mentioned on the Waldorf website. Besides, i don't think they would make it so easy for any1 who didn't buy the mag to be able to download and activate the LE edition. Beat magazine still pays Waldorf to be able to distribute the LE edition i would guess.

I feel ripped off now. Wtf do i buy the mag for.
