Are you happy with your Arsenal?.

I'm happy with what I have. I don't need anything else.

Speedrum 2 is a hidden gem. 8)

I was 100% done till I heard about Zebra POW!
I also would like an APC 40 for the extra lights on my desk.

I have my Reaktor and MM-Bass (and Absynth and Massive and FM8 and...), so all I need now is to buy back my Zebra2.

Yes, I still feel like there are sounds you can accomplish in Zebra2 that you can't with any other synth, so I'll feel incomplete (inkomplete?) without it.

But I didn't install most of the Kontakt libraries (pianos and keys) that came with Komplete 8 because I just don't need them. I have acoustic drums covered other than ethnic drums, which is why I did install West Africa and electric drums which is why I installed Battery.

there would be some, rare things I would be possibly interested in, eg., the oriental strings with that [kontakt 5] scripting for the mod/pitch lever that one guy has, but I have a serious 'arsenal' as it is. and it's good to focus.

I'm not a big consumer, I am not pulled that easily.

I too thought I was happy with my setup.. then something else comes along that knocks me off of my feet..

Largely I'm happy with my setup.. I can still say that much.

But Abbey Road 60s drums and studio drummer are both pretty good - they may be better than your current acoustic drums.

I'm suddenly unable to get the word Melodyne out of my head. Think I should google it.

phew. It's not something I'm interested in. :phew:

I want VSL and a Virus TI.
But I guess most do

I think I'm more of a sample person than a synth person. You can have a near-perfect synth, but there are still many areas where samples just don't work, at least for me.

I really need a guitar with humbuckers. Sometimes single coils just don't work for what I want.

yeah, i could do with some pups for the sg :hihi:
need something with a bit more grunt than the standard ones that came with it

I don't know that I'm particularly unhappy with mine, just see room to improve things here and there.

I realize the deficiencies in some of the instruments I have but it doesn't mean I can't learn to play better, or learn something new, or even take advantage of the deficiencies in some way.

There's also that element of wanting something just because it's new. A while back I was thinking about buying a shakuhachi as I found a place online that sells them for about $25. Not sure of the quality but that's never stopped me from using something to learn to play it.

I thought I was going to love Scarbee MM-Bass. Well, I just got a great deal on Scarbee Jay-Bass and Pre-Bass, and I'm LOVING the Pre-Bass!

Also, I didn't realize that the Scarbee basses were sampled down to a low B. Awesome! :tu:

I still need to re-buy Zebra2.
