Except I can press a key and get a much closer level of playing as Hans did with Zebra2.. than I could with someone playing any of those other instruments you mentioned. :P

Volume automation works too though, or assigning a control knob there.
I'm more into making the modwheel morph through other tones, or even to completely other sounds. Something I've been doing with my own sounds for years.
Nice to see that approach being done more often now.

Considering it's Howard and Hans working on sounds I'm quite expecting zero "phat" or "dirty" dubstep basslines. It's quite a relief really. ;)
