wait: i have the "vendetta" copyright!

I'm angry that 'mute me' doesn't work when quoting and I must browse through the same wall of nonsense in every Reason thread.

No, because you don't want to admit that you completely misrepresented me in your post. That would take a bit of humility.

If you check back you will notice I said to you that I am sorry that my position offends you. You don't even have the decency or dignity to admit that you completely twisted my statements.
I didn't twist anything. You lumped fans in with your statement. Reread it aloud.

If you genuinely don't believe that Reason users are requesting those things, after all the arguments against them over the years, well then that's fine. Probably both zerocrossing in his OP and now me are both making it up simply to be "bashers". Probably he's insane, like me. Shame we can't all be *right* like you.
If Reason now his the option to add RE's, then what's the problem with asking for them from various vendors? If I now had the ability to get more plugins in Reason because it was now possible, why would I NOT ask? What's wrong with asking for it?

The fact that these unidentifed people didn't want them before would be irrelevant at this point, yes?

And yes, I'm still asking for names. If you're going to backhand someone, at least tap them on the shoulder first.

Not pissed at all. On the contrary, REs are the reason I have bought Reason and returned to laptop music after more than a year on iPad only. I am certainly not pissed at all the threads poppings either because I wouldn't have known about it otherwise. Thumbs up for propellerhead and all you lovely tread makers. :tu:

What pisses me off is Reason Extensions not supporting SSE CPU instructions so it's unlikely we can get highly optimized plug-ins.
That is very odd. Do you think this is a limitation of the SDK "at this point" and could change?
Do you think their native devices take advantage of SSE?

This Headquest guy must get paid to do this, hes here, hes on blogs, hes on other forums just bashing everything Reason. I for one don't buy half of his BS about having crashes and friends not buying REs. Dude get a life seriously. I have said this many times. I have logic don't use it because there are somethings I don't like about it. I waste no time on forums bashing Apple however. I spend my time writing music in Reason. You can call that being a fanboy, Headquest/aje.

poor thing.

(P.S. Logic Pro: 10/10 of course  )

What I mean is: nobody say Reason is lame, everone knows it is a great product. Both Headquest and I have used it for years, so there is no need to call us "haters" or "trolls" when we say something against propellerhead's policy. i guess it Is the same for some users criticizing cubase, live etc. But cubase and ableton have less fanboys, maybe...

What you see is just the difference between a normal user (who considers the product a mean) and a fanboy (who lives in an abnormal faith state, calling people like us "enemies" LOL).

Really? Don't remember discussing this elsewhere for several weeks.. but if the subject is raised, then it is something I have an informed opinion about, and the topic has been discussed a lot here in recent days.

I thought it was okay to have an opinion. I forgot that some people get upset about that... so I'll bow out and leave drez and his newly signed up friends here to conclude their personal abuse without me.

Thanks for the heads up "krucial" (posts = 6)

Fanboys and antifansboys alike: Just keep your quarrels going. That is the way I found out about Reason 6.5. and REs. And the thing you do not discuss as much, for instance the supreme mixer section, came as a lovely surprise when I bought it. Right now I am just experimenting but have come up with several potential modular patterns. Bless you!

Steady now, next you'll be telling them that I've used Reason loads in my professional work, and that I've frequently described it as one of the best pieces of software I've ever used. We can't let them know that - it's too confusing.

That bus compressor is just wonderful. Enjoy!

Also the stereo width control is well worth investigating ;)
