Still vexed about being banned from the props forums? Dont worry. Next time dont put so much of your abnormal faith and time into a company. You just learned the hard way now your pissed. You will get over it eventually. What was your username on the PUF?myrna wrote:(P.S. Logic Pro: 10/10 of course)
What I mean is: nobody say Reason is lame, everone knows it is a great product. Both Headquest and I have used it for years, so there is no need to call us "haters" or "trolls" when we say something against propellerhead's policy. i guess it Is the same for some users criticizing cubase, live etc. But cubase and ableton have less fanboys, maybe...
What you see is just the difference between a normal user (who considers the product a mean) and a fanboy (who lives in an abnormal faith state, calling people like us "enemies" LOL).
Cowards like headquest should voice his disgust at Reason and its users in the PUF tho. Be a man, after all your are still in the safe confines of your home.
I have never seen another music making application generate so much passionate and dedicated hate. LOL.

So (sorry for language barrier if I am mistaking), the question is "are you pissed off at Reason". IF one answers "NO" it is ok, but if another one answers "YES" he becomes a hater?... What the hell of question is that, then?!
For instance, of course my answer is YES. Shall I be banned for this? Or is it a joke?

Begins count down to thread being closed (which I am starting to think is the 'Modus Operandi' of several people here).
Sad really but oh well.

Erm, no I didn't. You read that into my statement. It was certainly NOT intended that way. I've already stated that plainly for you and apologised for any offence you took.drez wrote: I didn't twist anything. You lumped fans in with your statement. Reread it aloud.
I've mentioned it a couple of times where I saw it. But unlike you, I'm not "backhanding" any individual at all, simply making a general observation in agreement with zerocrossing's observation. The only one who is "backhanding" an individual here is you.... oh and a couple of people that just signed up as reinforcements.headquest wrote: And yes, I'm still asking for names. If you're going to backhand someone, at least tap them on the shoulder first.
I seriously don't *get* why expressing an opinion of frustration or disapproval with the current direction PH are headed has to be met with such personal hostility.
As for the stuff about "getting a life", my wife and daughter are currently abroad doing charity work with street kids for a couple of weeks, so it's a fair observation that I have more free time for these discussions that usual. The personal attacks about me being insane, or paid, or whatever, are completely uncalled for however. And for the avoidance of doubt - yes, you have upset me. Seriously drez, I can't speak for your mates here, but in your case I expected better.

Well, actually i was banned from here, too, due to my words "against" (?!) reason. In PUF just say "nova" and the users will react like this:krucial wrote:Still vexed about being banned from the props forums? Dont worry. I dunno about being banned but that is pretty much it. You can't win, that's why I don't even bother.myrna wrote:So (sorry for language barrier if I am mistaking), the question is "are you pissed off at Reason". You're welcome "headquest" (post = 7497). Like I said don't be a coward take your frustrations over at the PUF afterall the Props read it too. Maybe your issues will be addressed. Just don't have the "abnormal faith" the other guy speak of. We all see that its not healthy.headquest wrote:Thanks for the heads up "krucial" (posts = 6)krucial wrote:This Headquest guy must get paid to do this, hes here, hes on blogs, hes on other forums just bashing everything Reason.

I have no disgust either for Reason or most of its users that I know. And I have been an active contributor to the PUF for many years.krucial wrote: Cowards like headquest should voice his disgust at Reason and its users in the PUF tho. But feel free to insult a stranger why don't you? That's not cowardly at all

alright, cut out the name calling and personal attacks, geez!
I don't want to be heavy handed and lock this thread, so just get on topic.
