I wanted to add that when i automated the on/off of waveforms it would also cause this sluggishness.
Just record while you flip a waveform on and off and see what happens when you play it back.

Am I missing some presets?? I can only count about 50-100 in the preset section so there are meant to be about 250 I think. Any help please, also I making some good presets of my own and will share a few later if anyones interested

I won't change anything until tomorrow, but I will check, try to reproduce and hopefully fix this for the 1.0.1 version (not available before end of August anyway, we need a break !)

V 1.0 will be released tomorrow TrackStar, and it will include the 250 presets.

( You'll just have to DL and install 1.0, not need to desintall anything, and the presets will be there. )

Thanks Michael,

I dont understand why, but there might be a cultural reference for that so I've changed it.

In France the "Jour J" ( Day D as a more or less exact translation ) is a rather common expression that refers to something important that will happen during the mentioned day. Maybe there's a much stronger relationship with WWII events in English ? Dunno.

Anyway I've changed it

Oxium version 1.0 has just been released

Changes :

* It now includes more than 250 presets
* Minor bugs fixed
* A few features added

You can DL the demo here

For all users : Please just install the new V1.0 wich can be found on the usual DL area, and install it over your ancient version.( No need to desinstall ancient versions. )

Lotuzia, Oxium seems to have issues in the MUX due to its GUI. It freezes all the windows in the host, and the CPU hits the roof.
If Oxium is hidden then it's fine but once it opens I need the Task Manager to close the host.

Hi LiquidSound,

Weird. I think CrakBaby reported a few threadsago that it was working in Mux, even if it was a bit sluggish when he did some crazy things in it like 16 Macros, or midi LFOs to control internal paramters via midi C/C.

So is this new with the V1.0 ( ie it worked with previous versions 0.94)

And does it work ok in your other host ( Sonar iirc ? ) ?

Anwyay please report that on the Oxium subforum ib the Xils-Lab forum, ( +please indicate your OS/Daw details/versions etc ) and be sure we'll give it attention as soon as time allows.

It was actually on last page and the first post on this page...

Just to see if im crazy, record automation where you flip around controls (ie osc triangle wave on/off) and then let it play back. Did your host survive? I've tried it with Maschine, Live, EnergyXT and Reaper.
The reason why it was noticed with Mux first is that we both tried it with midi lfo which has a high rate as default making the control of choice on Oxium spin like crazy leading to a painful death..

So this has nothing to do with mux at all. It's playback of automation while the GUI is visible.

Hmmm I've recorded automation in Cubase with some b'n'b parameters like filters, envelope segments, or Lfo speeds etc and all went OK, GUI open or not. I know by PM that this works in Reaper too.

However I did not try switching some critical parameters like Oscillators Waveforms on/off, etc as these are not exposed to midi C/C automation, and therefore are not supposed to be automated.

However, we'll take a look a all this after the holydays, and we will see what we can do ( From fixing certain things in certain hosts/systems if possible, see if its graphical only related, or not, to eventually not expose a few critical parameters to host )
