Hehe, nope... but there's an XMF in the FX Grid now (also on upcoming regular Zebra 2.5.3) which makes for a nice distortion unitcolinssx wrote:Hey Urs, would any of those prototype features that you mentioned happen to be a distortion module?

Now I get it... You enter the draw just by posting. I figured you had to post a picture of a Zebrafied Batman or something, but those people were obviously just being creative.
Anyway, I'm very curious. Never seen so much anticipation about a soundset.

Just finished the soundtrack. I'll have to say that my favorite tracks were "Mind if I Cut In" "Rise" "The Shadows Betray You"(the intro to this song is terrifying) and, of course, "The End"

I don't believe "The End" was all Zebra. Those must be real violins. Zebra can do pretty great physical modelling, but he must have used real violins (or sampled) in that track and other drums as well.

@Esgalachoir,
Is this deluxe edition on iTunes, or a physical cd?

I'm really curious to hear "The End" now.
By the way, the deluxe edition has a few words from Nolan on Hans in a nifty little digital booklet, and he's pretty quotable.
Available on iTunes, Amazon, etc.

I can't wait to see it
I already watched the first two movies again during the last few days.
Sadly I'm not going to see the new movie before the end of the next week
No spoilers please!
Cheers

Well, it's not the orchestra because it was done long time after Hans' London time. Don't think he had time to do another recording session for this.Echoes in the Attic wrote:I don't believe "The End" was all Zebra. Those must be real violins. The drums are most definately Zebra, probably with a compressor to shape and an Uhbik-A to finish (not certain about snares). The strings, well, might be cleverly masked. There are some sounds in the pack that don't sound real at all if played by themselves, but in a mix... The choirs/voices otoh are easily identified presets - we'll have them in a demo vid. (I had the impression he used one patch from Angels & Demons, but I could be wrong)
If it is Zebra - then, well, that'll certainly explain why people have difficulties hearing it. It's not the synth sounds. Or, as someone put it, "This is what Zebra is all about"
Anyhow, I'll ask Hans. And I'll just say that The End is mostly Zeebs until then.
