Just dl'ing now.
Great synth, lotta fun.
:)
Thanks McNoone,

And thanks a lot for the presets you did for Oxium : Some are just awsome :tu:

( And some are already in the Factory Lib, so I hope that a lot of users will enjoy them )

( Unfortunately they came a bit too late so that I could make some little audio clips with them, sorry for that )

All instruments by Oxium, including the drums of course.
This demo is awesome!(A bit 'Reckless') One of the best to show it's virtual analog sound...only listened on netbook speakers mind.

Listening to this, Xils-Lab should make a Drum Synth :) , More hardware like though, like a real analogue style one, maybe Tempest-ish or something, the 808/909 etc has been done to death and already covered...

This(Oxium) will be the first/maybe only VST Synth I buy this year. It'll be on intro price till 15th August so I'll get it before the offer is over for sure.

Yes, D-Day is associated with the war in the UK, I wondered what you were on about yesterday. :hihi:

Yea about those...I'll pm

Holy shit - it just came around trying this thing.... it manages to max out my CPU at ease (for some generic sound)... and the GUI is huge and nonetheless overcrowded and convoluted - on of the most hilarious plugins I ever tested.

As for Drum synth, well its funnt toy asked, we have plans for that. And if/when it is completed, I can promise a drum synth that will just have no equivalent on earth :D

I am really starting to like this synthesizer, something tells me as I keep using it its the best one Ive ever had, even though there are fewer features than say zeta 2, but the ease of programming and sound quality is fantastic. The envelopes are really tight and snappy and the filters drive and sound are incredible. I wouldnt have minded another oscillator or two though and perhaps a reverb, but for the money it was worth every penny, Cheers lotuzia and especially for making it with just a serial. I bought the LE version of the modular synth, but Im having a hard time figuring it out at the minute, though the sound is great on that too, so yeah!!, thanks

Thanks TrackStar,

Yes, features and sound are different things : I see it that way : A bad sounding synth with tons of features will still sound bad on your track, but it will have consumed a lot of your time

For the Xils 3 LE, yes its a complicated synth mainly intended to ravish the purists and sound wirards, or mad scientists, wich doesn't mean it can't do some b'n'b instruments ( see the Xilistic soundset audio demos on XIls-site for that ), but just that to create your own sounds with it, be them quiet, adventurous, or totally crazy, you'll have to take the road slowly and with pleasure ( nothing really good is achieved without pleasure in music -imho- ). Just take your time with this one, and in the future you'll gradually discover its potential ( If you need it )

additional oscillators would have killed the CPU, because almost everything is handled at audio rate in Oxium, but for those who need giant layers, huge stacked Leads or loads of Oscillators, we also have one solution, and its called ....... Synthix :) ( But here again take your time, Synthix is more complicated than Oxium, so I think its best and more rewarding for you to master Oxium first, discover all the things it can do -and there are many- then move to other units to compliment Oxium )

Wow that sounds really BIG :tu:

You can hear the stereo in the synths.

Did you use Oxium for the drums as well Christophe ? And are these mostly factory presets or did you craft your owns ?

Anyway, great sound and great track !

Well, I've been through all of those lovely presets and there were a fair good many that ended up in the Favourites "project". Good work to all of you involved in getting this wrapped up for release (that's to you preset designers as well). This one -definitely- made an impression on my brain. A few of those presets really bring forth a shockingly impressive va quality. Futhermore, Thanks for an extremely fair introductory offer on this one. Great :)

I've found one lil' bug!
Modwheel in the modulation section, set to modulate an envelope level ie
Modwheel -> Amp Env Lev.
Even when modwheel is centered, the Amount still affects the synth.
Easy way to replicate
Open init patch. In modulation section, set Modwheel to modulate Amp Env Lev. Increase Amount (while modwheel centered).
