Sad that so many seems to have download problems. But the zip file came down with the speed of lightning here though, so it is difficult to say what the problem could be?U-o wrote:Impossible to download it!![]()
I tried zilions web browsers and download managers.

I was successful with FlashGot under Linux. Used wget's auto retry function. Possibly they have a very poor connection/server and download stops suddenly. Now, if you don't use a download manager which retries in this case, you're lost. Interestingly DownThemAll failed also.

Download failed @ ~95% the first time, second time was a success.
Dune LE appears to be fast as hell. On my netbook it consumes about as much cpu cycles as synth1 on most settings

If anyone is still having problems try a download manager that has a pause feature. You pause every so often and let it get it's breath back and then carry on. I can't remember which manager it was or for which product. I'll have a look to see if I can find it.
See below, it was firefox (which took about 5 minutes to find and set up) and worked as described.

Pause every 5MB in this case.Teksonik wrote:So I just paused and resumed the download at every 20 meg interval and it finally downloaded. (FireFox) A bit tedious but it worked.

Thanks, I was trying to pause at about 15 megs this time. Didn't work. Oddly enough I couldn't pause at all with FireFox this time.....will try again with Chrome.bob bobwood wrote:from the Beat Zampler threadPause every 5MB in this case.Teksonik wrote:So I just paused and resumed the download at every 20 meg interval and it finally downloaded. Same here.......Can not pause with Firefox, pausing with Chrome every five megs didn't work as it stopped at 16 meg, IE didn't work but I did not try a download manager. Oh well as Zombie Queen says not worth the effort. I already own the full Dune and Junglist and I think the others are synth edit stuff so......
This only happens with Beat Magazine's servers so it's not an issue with my system or ISP..........
